Introducing Birdie on a Wedge.
Birdie comes from Charley Harper's 2000 lithograph release by the same name. The open edition lithograph features two disgruntled burrowing owls who find an errant golf ball in their nest.
Although we hand select every board we use in our production, please keep in mind that hardwoods are a natural product, therefore variations in color and grain may occur.
Materials:
Made of solid walnut with a maple color epoxy inlay.
Measurements:
The board measures approximately 15" x 10" at its widest point and is 3/4" thick.
About The Artist:
Charley Harper (August 4, 1922 – June 10, 2007) was a Cincinnati-based American Modernist artist. He was best known for his highly stylized wildlife prints, posters, and book illustrations. In a style he called "minimal realism", Charley Harper captured the essence of his subjects with the fewest possible visual elements.
